Next Generation Green Office

The NGG Office Project sets out to create a building that is fundamentally human-centric, without sacrificing any of the technical rigour demanded of a high-performance green building. Layered onto that is a deliberate aesthetic ambition - the building should be something the local community and the nation can take pride in, rather than a purely technical exercise. As a headquarters building, it carries a particular burden of proof. To be worthy of the brand it represents, it cannot simply be a green building; it must be the shining example others aspire to. This drives the decision to reach beyond GBI Platinum toward higher-order benchmarks such as the Living Building Challenge. The reasoning is developmental as much as symbolic - studying this building's performance should inform and elevate future iterations of GBI itself.
